PSARC : IDEAL : Revisited

That which is ideal describes a person or thing regarded as perfect, but what attributes would we assign to said ideal person or thing? With this question in mind, I embarked upon a journey to document ideal people and things in their quintessential state of perfection.

PSARC : IDEAL was born as an audacious collection of Ideal Tattoos for Ideal People. Tattoos designed for every person at any stage of development in their life.

We are all grieving something at some time. It never stops. The PARC IDEAL zine acknowledges our inescapable suffering, while applauding our unsophisticated attempts to escape the cycle of insurmountable grief.

PSARC: IDEAL Volume One is the first in what I like to think of as a series of love letters to all of the people anonymously named in this zine through the descriptions of their responses to moving through grief. The opening of each zine begins with an acknowledgment of my own journey stumbling through the steps of overcoming grief.

As the volumes progress, I become more radically honest with the reader in attempt to free myself from the shackles of shame. For we can only escape the oppression of shme through the avenue of our voice and the stories we share of ourselves with others.

The PSARC Zines will progressively evolve into more personal writing, but please enjoy this irreverent attempt at exalting the flaws in our humanity.
