Fleur Noire Tattoo : Sowing Seeds for Opportunity
The many paths we follow in life often take unexpected turns in mysterious ways.
At the end of September 2024, I was gifted the opportunity to partner with an established artist and business owner, Burak Erdal of Fleur Noire Tattoo. His vision began in New York and eventually spread to the West Coast, where I had the chance to meet him through a mutual acquaintance. As our friendship grew, we realized the uncanny similarities between our appreciation for art, our respect for the tattoo industry, and our broader goals to foster a progressive shop environment.
By infusing a contemporary perspective into the traditional working model of a tattoo shop we intend to establish an inclusive space that offers a holistic approach to the ritual of permanently marking the body with meaningful and emblematic artwork. Within this vision, we are also excited to forge a space that will promote growth for a community of likeminded creatives.
Despite the many mountains to climb on the road ahead, our destination is clear and over the next few months I will keep you informed on my progress as the new co-owner of Fleur Noire Tattoo, San Diego. It is a tremendous honor to work among people that share similar values as well as steadfast dedication to shaping a landscape that will ensure a brighter future for artists, enthusiasts, and collectors alike.
