After spending years navigating social media in an attempt to build a following, understand the algorithms, and promote my creative services, the long hours of doom scrolling till three in the morning eventually led me back to strengthening the basics of an online business presence.
During this process, I neglected my website for an embarrassing amount of time. There was even a point where I questioned the relevancy of having a web presence as a creator, but I knew there was much more content I wanted to share that required special attention.
I needed more control and versatility within an online platform that would allow me to curate a distinctive space for my audience. I wanted to create content that took the form of images infused with stories, as well as tangible and digital products designed to empower a community of people looking for ways to safely fortify authenticity.
My repeated evolution in appearance, artistic styles, and career industries inspires much of the more recent content across my social media platforms, in addition to a narrative that celebrates transitions of all kinds. However, it became glaringly obvious that my aim to lead people on the path to authenticity would require me to audaciously share my unfiltered identity.
Fortunately, I received a solid referral from my friend, Marc Hedges, who put me in contact with his long time friend and trusted associate, Fabrizio Scippa. This serendipitous introduction then led me to work with an expert web designer with an eye for building clean and functional business platforms online, as well as an acute understanding of the nuance behind discerning what a client truly needs.
Fabrizio masterfully delivered more than just an updated website reconfiguration to suit the needs of my growing creative portfolio, he pinpointed my biggest hurdle as a human being and catered our project to suit my emotional needs. He provided the time, space, and encouragement I needed to overcome my fear of stepping into the spotlight, while gently corralling me back onto the path of completing a new website that would surpass my hopes and expectations.
After the launch of KatherineBrannock.com, I felt I had been given the gift of unbridled creative autonomy in the form of a stunning online presence, as well as the newly cultivated skill of fearlessly exposing my authentic identity. However, what is most exciting about the success of this project, is witnessing the synergistic result of three consummate professionals sharing their expertise to reach a common goal, but more importantly help a friend.
